The reason why this Chelsea new boy rejected Manchester United transfer

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic rejected a transfer to Manchester United because his father hated Jose Mourinho, according to a report published by the Telegraph.

Pulisic signed for Chelsea in the January transfer window, but didn’t join up with his new teammates until our summer pre-season campaign.

The American has wasted no time impressing the Chelsea faithful, even if he was relatively ineffective during his home debut vs. Leicester.

The best is yet to come from Pulisic, and the best is going to be something special. His quality is our gain, but also Man United’s loss.

The Telegraph claim that United were previously keen on signing Pulisic, which comes as no surprise with the Glazer influence at the top.

However, so the report claims, Pulisic’s dad put the brakes on any potential deal as he was not keen on then manager Jose Mourinho.

Who can blame him, either? Mourinho has a poor track record with young players and wouldn’t have done Pulisic any good.

He’s much better off with Frank Lampard.
