Chelsea have ‘softened their stance’ on their negotiations in Tiemoue Bakayoko’s potential loan move back to Monaco, according to L’Equipe.
The report, as cited by Sport Witness, states that Chelsea were initially blocking the move fearing that Monaco wouldn’t give him the exposure required to get his price up, so they could sell him next summer.
But now the French publication simply claim that The Blues have softened their stance.
Chelsea have been in talks with Monaco for sometime now, and Bakayoko is also keen on getting the move completed, as reported here by Goal journalist Nizaar Kinsella.

The signs would suggest that a deal will be completed, and the outcast midfielder will return to the club that he was at before he joined Chelsea in 2017.
It’s been a disastrous move for the 25-year old, who has failed to nail down a spot in the Chelsea first team, and despite impressing at times, he also struggled on loan at AC Milan last year.
