Luiz has been widely reported to want to leave Chelsea before the transfer deadline on Thursday at 5pm, with the latest report being via Sky Sports.
They state that the veteran defender is keen to join Arsenal, despite signing a new two-year contract with Chelsea just this summer.
Lewis states that Frank Lampard will be providing an update on Friday. However, one would believe that we will know if he is leaving or not before then, judging on whether he joins Arsenal or not tomorrow.
The Telegraph journalist Matt Law believes that there has been a series of fall outs at the club, and that Luiz has made it clear that he wants to leave Chelsea this window.
