One Chelsea player makes the ‘Who Scored’ PL team of the week

Chelsea drew with Leicester City 1-1 in the Premier League game week two, but many of their players put in lacklustre performances.

Nobody would really be expecting to see many (if any) Chelsea players making any teams of the week from this weekend.

However, perhaps their only bright spark of the performance against Leicester has made the Who Scored Premier League team of the week.

Youngster Mason Mount scored Chelsea’s opening goal inside 7 minutes when his high press saw him take advantage of a defensive error, and place a tidy finish into the net.

The 20-year old has started the season well under Frank Lampard, and is currently keeping the more experienced Ross Barkley out of the Chelsea starting line up.

Mount finds himself in top company in the team of the week, alongside the dangerous Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne, and Bernado Silva.

Mount received the joint 4th highest rating of the team, joining Hugo Lloris on 8.2.
