Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has taken to Twitter to celebrate the two goals he bagged against Liverpool U23s in PL2 at Stamford Bridge yesterday evening.
Batshuayi is yet to be included in a Premier League match day squad for Chelsea this season, despite being heavily involved in virtually all of the legs of our pre-season tour.
The Belgian’s continued omission is a mystery to some, with Lampard’s decision to leave him out not gaining any more support with Batshuayi bagging two yesterday night.
It may have merely been an U23 game, but Batshuayi is clearly taking the positives from the two goals he scored. He posted on Twitter to reveal that it provided a handy confidence boost.

We hope that Batshuayi will get a fair chance going forward. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he scores goals, and that’s really what we could do with right now.
