We were reporting weeks ago that Callum Hudson-Odoi was on the verge of signing a new contract, but things seem to have slowed down on that front.
We’ve not had much news in terms of it getting signed, but what we have had are increasing leaks about just how insanely massive the deal is going to be. The latest reports in the Sun are that it’s going to be worth around £200,000 a week, and that’s had some heads on social media absolutely spinning.
We all know how good he is, but a guy with 4 Premier League starts being on Leo Messi money is just mad. As one concerned fan said, it “makes no sense.”
We’re inclined to agree.
