Callum Hudson-Odoi has made a breakthrough in talks with Chelsea regarding signing a new deal, according to Simon Johnson of The Evening Standard.
Johnson states that after drawn out talks, Hudson-Odoi is finally prepared to pen a new 5-year deal with the London club.

The Chelsea journalist claims that the 18-year old is ready to give Chelsea a huge boost ahead of the new season.
He states that whilst nothing has been officially signed yet, both parties are happy with how things have progressed. He believes it is just a matter before the announcement is made.
Hudson-Odoi is one of The Blues’ prize assets, and will be one of the players whom they will look to help fill the void of losing star man Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer.
Frank Lampard will be pleased to get him tied down to a new long term deal, as he begins his reign as Chelsea manager.
