Some Chelsea fans on Twitter have turned on Kurt Zouma after he conceded a penalty against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Zouma, who spent last season out on loan at Everton, has been kept around as part of the squad by Frank Lampard for the season ahead, which it’s safe to say the defender has earned.
The Frenchman appears to be a considerable part of Lampard’s plans for the Blues, with David Luiz being forced out over fears that he’ll be spending time among the substitutes.
It’s still very much early days, but Zouma endured a difficult start to life back at Chelsea, conceding a penalty which saw Marcus Rashford hand Man United the lead in the opening fixture.
Some Chelsea fans are not impressed with what they’ve seen from him thus far and have taken to Twitter to share their displeasure. Have a look at this, is it a little harsh, Blues?
