Eden Hazard has taken to Instagram to wish former teammate Fernando Torres well after his professional football career came to an end.
Torres’ career can certainly be considered a tale of two halves, but there is no denying that the Spaniard etched his name into football history during his time as a player.
He was inarguably one of the best strikers in the world for a period, as well as being the first player to hold the European Championship, World Cup, Europa League and Champions League at one time.
El Nino was a winner, and not only because of his own quality, but also due to the quality of the players he had the pleasure of playing with. Few were better than our Eden.
Eden, who spent two seasons flanking Torres, posted an emotional farewell to his former teammate on his Instagram story. Thanks for everything, Fernando. We love you.
