Reece James has had himself a fresh new haircut for the new season, and ‘the competition isn’t ready’, claims one Chelsea fan!
The 19-year old has been out injured since this summer, after playing for England Under 20s. But his recovery has been going well, and Chelsea fans are building excitement around his return.

The performances of Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has fuelled the excitement, with many supporters believing that it is James’s time, and The Spaniard’s position is under threat.
James can play at full back, centre back or in centre midfield. But it is likely he will be used at right back, with Chelsea’s system needing a full back with attributes like James can offer.
It will certainly be some much needed competition to an area on the pitch where Chelsea have looked remarkably weak for the last couple of seasons.
Having grown up through the Chelsea academy, James will be just as buzzing to get on the pitch in Chelsea blue.
