Chelsea hit back at Manchester United on Twitter in style in wake of their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues were defeated 4-0 by United on the opening day, which led to them joking about wishing they were playing us yesterday after a mix-up with the hashtags.
Unfortunately, it came back to bite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who were defeated by a late goal from former Chelsea left-back Patrick Van Aanholt.
Naturally, Chelsea took their opportunity to laugh at the Red Devils, posting the below tweet after the full-time whistle blew at Old Trafford.

Perhaps we lost the right to laugh at them after such a heavy defeat on the opening day, but fair play to the Chelsea Twitter admin for taking the mick.
We’ll be the ones laughing at the end of the season when we finish ahead of United, who will likely be missing out on the Champions League once again.
