Chelsea predicted Xl versus Liverpool – Super Cup Final

Chelsea face Liverpool this evening in The Super Cup Final, and Frank Lampard’s team will be eager to bounce back from the heavy opening day defeat to Manchester United.

The Blues went down 4-0 to United at Old Trafford, which quickly put the dampeners on the buzz surrounding Lampard’s Chelsea return.

It was a game to forget for Chelsea fans, even though there were some positives to take from the performance, when largely Chelsea were actually the better side.

Lampard will want immediate improvements this evening and has bought a strong squad to Turkey, as reported here by Football London.

18-year old Billy Gilmour has also been added to the squad and might get some minutes.

We could see game time for returning injured duo Willian and Antonio Rudiger.

N’Golo Kante remains a doubt, due to picking up a small injury on Sunday, as confirmed by Frank Lampard (reported by Goal).

There might be chances for fringe players with some regulars potentially being rested.

Predicted Xl (4-2-3-1).

Kepa, Zappacosta, Tomori, Christensen, Alonso. Jorginho, Kovacic. Kenedy, Mount, Pulisic, Batshuayi.

I’d expect run outs for Rudiger, Willian, Gilmour, and Giroud at least.
