Chelsea injury news: Three long-term absentees only players ruled out of Leicester

Chelsea have three injuries to contend with ahead of today’s clash with Leicester City, and thankfully for Frank Lampard, they’re all the long-term absentees. There’s no fresh problems.

This information comes from the reliable Physio Room, who collate information from across the country to provide the latest updates on the fitness and availability of Premier League footballers.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek: Physio Room believe that Loftus-Cheek could make his return from the achilles rupture at the beginning of November. Needless to say, he’s not available today.

Callum Hudson-Odoi: Hudson-Odoi is at a more advanced stage of his recovery, with Physio Room predicting that September 14th could be the day we welcome back the youngster.

Reece James: James has been given the exact same potential return date, which falls on our trip to Wolves after the first international break of the new Premier League season.

There’s nothing else for Lampard to worry about today, with both Antonio Rudiger and Willian returning to full training ahead of this contest. Brilliant, brilliant news.
