Abraham to get the nod, Zouma continues – Predicted Chelsea Xl to face Leicester City

Chelsea play Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in the 4.30pm kick off.

The TV cameras will be there in what will be a homecoming party for Frank Lampard and Jody Morris.

The new Chelsea coaching team will no doubt have mixed emotions about returning to the club as managers, but most importantly, will be desperate to get those first three points on the board.

The Blues have been unfortunate not to get anything more from their first two fixtures so far this season.

They were turned over 4-0 by Manchester United in a match that was nowhere near as one-sided as the result suggests.

Then they narrowly lost to Liverpool on penalties in the UEFA Sup Cup Final on Wednesday evening.

Lampard has so far been very flexible in his formations, using the 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 and even 4-4-2 diamond.

I believe we will continue to see this throughout the season.

The 4-3-3 worked well against Liverpool, and Leicester play with a similar high press and intensity, so I think we will see the same formation again on Sunday.

Antonio Rudiger and Willian are both back in contention, as is Andreas Christensen, after a small fatigue injury on Wednesday.

Predicted Line up (4-3-3)

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson. Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic. Pulisic, Pedro. Abraham.

Expect Willian to get a run out, and Mason Mount to come on early second half for Kovacic. Rudiger could be an outside bet for a start, but unlikely to be fully risked just yet.
