Chelsea have a 2-0 lead against St Patrick’s now, and Emerson Palmieri has opened his account for the season.
The former Roma man didn’t feature in the midweek match against Bohemians, having arrived in the later group of players, but with a few sessions under his belt he’s been considered fit enough to play today, and he’s rewarded Frank Lampard’s faith with a goal.
Mason Mount had already given us the lead with a clever run and finish, and now Emerson is in on the act too.
