Three Barcelona players confirmed out but two new stars are in to face Chelsea

Chelsea take on Barcelona tomorrow in a friendly, and while we’re still a way away from the season, things are starting to get serious.

After three games against relative minnows, we step things up big time with a game against Barcelona. The Blaugrana won’t be at full strength, but they will still have plenty of talent in their ranks.

The late finish of the Copa America means that  both sides will be without their South American stars – so no Messi, Coutinho or Suarez for them, and no Willian for us.

However in more exciting news, Football.London report that Frenkie De Jong and Antoine Griezmann will be in the squad to face us, having been signed this summer by the Catalan club.

Chelsea will have their own new man hopefully up to speed too with Christian Pulisic now almost a week into his time at his new club. Fans will be hoping for a performance that is a step up from what they saw in the 1-0 loss to Kawasaki Frontale.
