Swansea City are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer on loan, it has been claimed in Sky Sports‘ live transfer blog.
Palmer has featured in both of Chelsea’s pre-season fixtures under Frank Lampard, while surviving the squad cuts that our new head coach made following our 1-1 draw with Bohemians.
Lampard’s arrival has ensured that all of our younger players will be given an opportunity to show what they can do, though that is no guarantee that they will be here next season.
While the season is long and a sizeable squad will be necessary, Lampard has too many players training with him at this point in time. Many of them will be on their way this summer.
Palmer could be one of those who is shipped out on loan, with Championship side Swansea City now showing an interest, it has been claimed in Sky Sports’ live transfer blog.
The Englishman would likely prefer to be playing Premier League football next season, but there’d be no guarantee of minutes in the top tier. Swansea could be a good move for him.
