Stamford Bridge hosts “Tinder” transfer event

In what can only be described as football’s version of popular dating app ‘Tinder’, Chelsea’s home stadium Stamford Bridge has today become the host venue to a wide scale transfer event.

The event was organised by ‘Transfer Room’ and was attended by club executives from all around the world. It provided them with a chance to move around showing other clubs executives videos of their players available for sale, and hand out business cards in the hope of concluding transfer deals this window.

Chelsea’s former Director of Football Frank Arnesen was in attendance, as well as former FA Technical Director Dan Ashworth, who used the opportunity to conduct some networking.

The wide scale event bought in over 100 club directors and executives ranging from Maidenhead, to Bristol Rovers, right up to the other end of the footballing tower with Juventus and Roma also having representatives there.

Perhaps the most ironic circumstance surrounding the bizarre event, is that Chelsea were the one club who would not really benefit from the event anytime soon, having been banned from signing players for the next two windows.
