Premier League new boys line up move for £4M-rated Chelsea midfielder

Premier League new boys Norwich City are set to make an approach to sign Chelsea academy product Kasey Palmer, according to Football Insider.

Palmer has been involved in our pre-season campaign under Frank Lampard, but you have to expect him to be one of the youngsters to be cut from the first-team squad ahead of the new season.

Chelsea have a vast amount of midfield talent at the time of writing, which leaves little space for a player who, all due respect, has failed to make the most of his opportunities out on loan to date.

While Palmer is yet to set the world alight in the manner that some of his age group counterparts have managed, he could be given another opportunity to do so in the Premier League.

Football Insider believe that Norwich are keen on signing Palmer this summer, with Chelsea setting a £4M asking price for the 22-year-old. Only time will tell if they’re willing to meet that figure.

This one could come down to whether the player himself pushes for a permanent move away or would be happy to go out on loan once again. How much do you dream of making it at Chelsea, Kasey?
