All you need to know about Frank Lampard’s first game in-charge as manager of Chelsea

Chelsea prepare to face Bohemians in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday in a game that will be Frank Lampard’s very first in charge at the club since his appointment this summer.

The former midfielder is now manager of the Blues and his legend as a player at the club has the fans at the edge of their seats, hoping he can repeat the magic from the touchline. His squad has come together well for him, with Willian and Christian Pulisic the only senior players not yet arrived for training, due to national team commitments.

Chelsea fans will hope the football is good and the result obviously telling of what is to come this season.

According to information on the Chelsea official website, the players who arrived last Friday will have a better chance to start the game over those who arrived on Monday, which includes Marcos Alonso, David Luiz, and Mateo Kovacic. Loan returnees Kurt Zouma, Mason Mount, and Tiemoue Bakayoko are expected to see game time tonight as well.

The game will be played at Dalymount Park, north of the River Liffey in Dublin, a stadium which takes 4,200 fans.
