Billy Gilmour was taken on this tour to Ireland without anyone really being sure how much he would feature, but as it’s turned out Frank Lampard has given him two halves of football – and the young Scot has impressed.
Blues fans all over social media were raving about the former Rangers’ schoolboy today after he came on at half time and totally ran the show against St Pat’s.
There’s more to come, but we absolutely love the confidence and maturity he’s showing in these first steps of his career.
