Frank Lampard has assured Chelsea’s brightest talents that they WILL get opportunities to impress if they are able to prove themselves worthy.
Lampard was the manager who gave the most opportunities to player under the age of 21 in the Championship last season.
That’s one of the reasons that we Chelsea fans have been so excited for his appointment. For too long has our brightest talent been unfairly overlooked.
That stops here, though, with Lampard insisting during his first presser in charge of Chelsea that the opportunities will come for the deserving.

He did go on to mention, however, that not all of the returning loan army can expect to be part of the squad next season, which they will already have known.

It’s a big pre-season ahead for our youngsters. They ought to be fully motivated to impress, knowing that Lampard will allow them to thrive if they are willing.
