Eden Hazard forced into doing bizarre thing during Real Madrid debut

Eden Hazard’s Real Madrid debut was a little bit bizarre, with the former Chelsea man being forced to don the number 50 on the back of his shirt.

We’re going to be keeping a close eye on how Real Madrid treat our Eden, especially after how unnecessarily horrid they’ve been to Gareth Bale.

Every move will be scrutinised, with every mistreatment of our golden boy being condemned. We’re not sure this qualifies as a mistreatment, but it’s definitely weird.

As shown in the image below, Hazard wore the number 50 on his shirt during his first ever appearance in the shirt he has always dreamed of playing in.

The Sun report that he was made to do this in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landings, which is incredibly random, if you ask us.

Hazard should be allowed to wear whatever number he wants, rather than being forced to have a number on his back which doesn’t represent his true identity.

Although, maybe it just isn’t that big of a deal.
