Club social media accounts are about as tiresome as they come, but sometimes they come up with a gem.
The main Chelsea Twitter account is pretty bland, and just puts out straightforward club information mostly, as well as a few clips and happy birthdays now and again.
The American one is a different story. They have a lot more personality, and love a bit of “banter” when possible.
That’s alright by as as long as it’s our rivals getting rinsed, and that’s what’s happened today with tomorrow’s opponents Barcelona.

They are trying to take the mickey out of us missing out on the CL last season, although we’d probably miss it altogether than get ripped apart in humiliating fashion as Barca did against Liverpool, after looking certain to qualify.
Of course, we are playing in the Champions League this season – let’s hope we don’t come against Leo Messi’s team in the knockout stages again.
