Chelsea to issue refunds for fans who experienced Bohemians streaming issues

Chelsea have announced on their official website that they will be refunding fans who experienced issues with their live streams during our opening pre-season friendly against Bohemians.

Blues fans had not seen their beloved players in action since they took to the turf in the Europa League final in Baku, thus this clash with Bohemians became a significant date on the calendar.

However, many of those who paid the money to watch the game through the club’s official website or app experienced major technical difficulties, with the stream repeatedly crashing through the contest.

Obviously, this wasn’t ideal, with Chelsea putting all of their pre-season fixtures behind a paywall. It also led to them making it free-to-air, which is a kick in the teeth for those who paid for it.

Fear not though, Blues fans, they have announced on their official website that all those who parted with their hard-earned cash to watch the game will be refunded the full amount they paid. Fair play.
