Chelsea will hold further talks with the representatives of Callum Hudson-Odoi in the coming days – with resolving the youngster’s future on the agenda.
As the Guardian report, Bayern Munich have been sniffing around Hudson-Odoi for some time now – and who can blame them? The Englishman is one of the hottest prospects in the game right now.
Whether it’s down to their interest, or his discontent with matters at Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi has shown reluctance to pen an extension to his deal, which expires in the summer of 2020.
Of course, this has given us Chelsea fans difficulty sleeping at night. The prospect of a player with his talents walking out the door on a free transfer is utterly horrifying.
The battle to convince him to stay isn’t lost just yet, however. The Guardian report that talks are scheduled for the coming days between Hudson-Odoi’s camp and Chelsea.
We will be keeping our fingers tightly crossed that there is a breakthrough during said talks and we are finally able to see Callum signing along the dotted line.
