Poor Lewis was very highly rated for a very long time by some Chelsea fans, and it’s a shame to see that his is one of the careers that has just drifted through a series of loans. Too many times he’s found himself on the bench of a Championship team, and he will be desperate to establish himself as a starter early doors in Germany.
Kinsella’s report also claims that Baker’s move was influenced by Marina Granovskaia and Eddie Newton, who persuaded him that another Championship spell wasn’t in his best interest. That seems a wise move.
