The Chelsea players not in Frank Lampard’s plans this season

New Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has begun making some decisions on his squad this season, and a number of players are set to leave the club.

According to The Daily Express, the following group of players are not in the new manager’s plans this season:

Matt Miazga, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Jake Clarke-Salter, Trevor Chalobah, Lewis Baker, Lucas Piazon, Dujon Sterling, and Izzy Brown.

These are all reported to be set for loan moves away from Stamford Bridge.

Perhaps the most standout player is Tiemoue Bakayoko, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan.

After having a solid season in Italy, many believed that he might have a chance to break back into the Chelsea squad.

But with so many players ahead of him in the pecking order, it looks like he may well be on his way out of the Stamford Bridge exit doors once again.

Meanwhile, Matt Miazga is close to joining Reading, after impressing there on loan last season, and a number of other deals are currently being discussed.
