Chelsea are one of several Premier League sides interested in signing Dynamo Kiev attacking midfielder Mykola Shaparenko, according to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside.
Shaparenko’s name may well ring a bell for Chelsea fans who kept a close eye on our triumphant Europa League campaign last term, with the 20-year-old playing in both legs of the last 32 tie.
CaughtOffside’s understanding is that Shaparenko has now landed himself on our transfer radar, but we face competition from both Arsenal and Manchester United also hold an interest.
We remain shackled due to our transfer ban, so if either of those sides were to push forward with their interest, we would face the risk of missing out and seeing him sign for a direct rival.
