Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma will be the subject of transfer talk in the coming weeks as Everton step up their pursuit for him.
The central defender spent last season at Goodison Park and was one of the stars of Marco Silva’s side. He was a consistent fixture in Everton’s defense and made vital contributions to the Merseyside club’s campaign as the Toffees finished the season eighth in the Premier League standings.
Everton are considering a bid for the France star who played 36 times and scored two goals in all competitions. The 24-year old is also said to be interested in the move back to Goodison Park if he does not get assurances from the Blues to be a regular in the first team.
The BBC says Chelsea will demand nothing less than £30 million if they decide to sell the centre-back this summer. Since signing for Chelsea in January 2014, Zouma has played 71 times for the first team, being a constant name on the starting 11 in the 2014/15 season under Jose Mourinho.
