BBC Sport ask insane question about Chelsea fans and Frank Lampard

BBC Sport have included one of the most ridiculous questions we’ve ever seen published in the English media in an article about Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard.

As noted in their report, ‘#LampardOut’ trended on Twitter following Bohemians’ late equaliser in our first pre-season friendly, which was quite evidently just Chelsea supporters having a laugh.

However, BBC Sport, while certainly knowing the answer to this question, have proceeded to ask it in their headline of the story, which is some of the most baffling journalism we’ve seen in a while.

Yes, absolutely, Chelsea fans want arguably their greatest ever player to be handed his P45 after conceding late on while having virtually a full XI of half-fit youngsters.

We have to believe that the person(s) responsible for publishing this piece know full well how much support Lampard has been receiving from the Chelsea faithful.

Headlines and questions of this kind are just utterly bizarre.
