Chelsea contract saga far from over with Bayern hopeful and youngster tempted

Bayern Munich remain hopeful that Callum Hudson-Odoi will reject any advances from Chelsea over signing an extension to his contract, according to the Guardian.

It has felt as though there has been a turn in the tides since Frank Lampard was appointed, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount already committing their futures to the Blues.

While we were all delighted to see them signing their extensions, there is no denying that Hudson-Odoi is the one that we are all eager to see sat alongside Marina Granovskaia with a pen in his hand.

The Guardian report that Hudson-Odoi is now more open to signing along the dotted line than he once was, but Bayern have refused to throw in the towel in their pursuit of the youngster.

The report claims that Bayern remain hopeful CHO will reject Chelsea’s proposal and thus be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with them when the January transfer window comes around.

The Guardian mention that Hudson-Odoi remains tempted by Bayern’s interest, so it’s really difficult to call which way the pendulum is going to swing in this saga.

All we can do is cross our fingers and pray to whatever god you believe in that Hudson-Odoi’s final decision is to remain a Chelsea player. It would be a huge boost to our future prospects.
