Barcelona superstars to miss Chelsea clash – full squad revealed

Chelsea face Barcelona on Tuesday in the second and final leg of their pre-season tour of Japan.

The Catalan giants will be without three key attackers Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho, who have NOT travelled, according to the official Barcelona website.

Their are some familiar names though as manager Ernesto Valverde picks a mix of youth and experience. The likes of Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets have all travelled, and they will be joined by new signing Antoine Griezmann.

The full squad according to their website is as follows:

Ter Stegen, Neto, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Todibo, Dembélé, Rafinha, Malcom, Lenglet, Griezmann, Alba, Aleñá, Roberto, De Jong, Umtiti, Iñaki Peña, Guillem, Araujo, O.Busquets, Monchu, Collado, Riqui Puig, Hiroki Abe, C.Pérez.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Kawasaki Frontale last Friday, and will be hoping to put on a better performance as the Premier League return draws close.

At least he will not have one of the best players of all time to contend with, in the shape of Lionel Messi.
