Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger were the electric odd couple of BeIn Sports’ Champions League final punditry team.
After the match the pair listed the teams who would be competing for the competition next year, and notably Mourinho left Chelsea off the list, citing the transfer ban as a reason that Maurizio Sarri’s team will find it hard.
That ban is also one of the factors that might affect our current manager’s future.
Mourinho himself has been linked with potentially replacing Sarri himself – although there are plenty of reasons why that’s not likely – and this ban might well be one of them.
