Two reasons why Callum Hudson-Odoi has not yet signed a contract extension at Chelsea

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has not yet signed a new contract at the club to extend his stay due to two reasons revealed by the Sun.

The report says the wonder kid is hoping to recover and be part of the first team at Chelsea next season after picking up an ankle injury a couple of months ago. Hudson-Odoi is one of the most talked about young players in world football at the moment following his breakout season under Maurizio Sarri in the previous campaign.

Bayern Munich flirted with the 19-year old in the January transfer window, submitting four bids that were rejected by the Blues instantaneously as per Bavarian Football.

Hudson-Odoi is now expected to sign a new deal to remain at Chelsea beyond 2020, and the Sun says that has now been delayed because he is demanding assurances to play more when he recovers from his ankle injury. Also, Chelsea’s managerial uncertainty means they cannot give any such assurances at the moment, hence the hesitation.
