The reason why this loanee will not be returning to Chelsea this summer

While the Telegraph cast doubt over whether Alvaro Morata will be remaining at Atletico Madrid, there doesn’t appear to be much hope of a Chelsea return.

Chelsea need to solve their striker problem, which could prove to be a difficult task while the transfer ban remains in force.

Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham are set to return from loan, but Morata remains the most qualified on our books to lead the line.

Unfortunately, the likelihood of Morata returning to Stamford Bridge this summer is looking slim, or so the Telegraph believe.

It’s claimed in their report that Morata hitting out at his former teammates and the Chelsea supporters upon leaving Chelsea leaves it near impossible for him to return.

Morata can’t expect to speak negatively of the club who gave him an opportunity and have us waiting with open arms if he does find himself returning here.

Even if Frank Lampard wants Morata as part of his squad, we highly doubt that it’ll happen.
