Talk of Juventus making a move for Chelsea player after Maurizio Sarri arrives

Chelsea should brace themselves for a move from Juventus for some of their players this summer should Maurizio Sarri complete his move to the Turin club.

The Daily Express says Sarri is set to complete the move to Juventus in the coming days with the Serie A champions ready to pay the €5million necessary to release him from his contract. Chelsea will allow him to leave and replacement options are already being lined up.

At Juventus, they are already making plans to get Sarri the required materials to win laurels. Gazzetta Dello Sport says Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri and Manchester City’s Danilo have been identified to beef up the record-time Serie A winners’ squad. Cancelo and Alex Sandro will be allowed to leave, as per the report and the duo from England will be their replacements.

Palmieri was less favored at Chelsea in Sarri’s initial months at the club, as he trusted Marcos Alonso instead in the left back position, but the former AS Roma full-back rose above his Spain rival to start the big games at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

He is a fine asset for Chelsea and they must not let him leave.
