The Chelsea job is now officially vacant but it seems the Blues will not hire Massimiliano Allegri and the decision is not exactly that of the London club, as far as the report by the Sun goes.
The coach who recently left his position at Juventus is out of work but has rejected the offer from Chelsea because he was not assured of having full control of transfers. He is not ready to share that responsibility and wants to get the most out of the options available to him in the market. But at Chelsea, he will not get that.
That has pushed him away from the Chelsea post and the Blues are now hoping to make Frank Lampard their main target to replace Maurizio Sarri.
Chelsea are unable to sign any players in the coming transfer window and whoever replaces Sarri will not have the luxury of bringing in their preferred players for the next two windows.
