“There is no better guy to play under” – Chelsea striker raves about Frank Lampard

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has spoken in exalting terms about a possible new boss at the club, Frank Lampard, while confirming he will be a player at Stamford Bridge in the season to come.

Lampard will be a massive influence on the Chelsea players, having played at the club and be part of the most successful group of players in the Blues’ history. Lampard scored 211 goals while a Chelsea player between 2003 and 2015, more than any other player to have worn the shirt. He won several trophies including the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and others.

Lampard is on the verge of a move to Chelsea as the Daily Express say, and already some of the players are on cloud nine for this. Abraham is one of them. The youngster drools of playing under the 41-year old and hopes the coming season would be really successful for the youngsters.

“He is a great manager and it would be great if it was him who took over. I believe in myself and there is no better guy to play under: Someone you have grown up watching, been at Chelsea for ever. He knows about me as well.”
