Fresh report signals another transfer battle looming for Chelsea after European giants refuse to give up on youngster

Bayern Munich have reportedly not given up on the chase for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and will make a new offer this summer although there is a restriction on their bid, as per the Sun.

The youngster was ruled out of the sale window in January this year when the German Bundesliga champions made several bids for him. Hudson-Odoi had made remarkable progress in the Blues setup and was a revelation last season when he broke into the first team and eventually became a key player for Maurizio Sarri’s side.

He picked up an Achilles injury a month before the end of the season and was ruled out of action for four to six months per Evening Standard. That effectively ruled out any deal for him this summer, but it appears Bayern are still keen to employ his services.

The report also adds that Chelsea will receive no more than £20 million for the player with only one year remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.
