Frank Lampard to Chelsea could actually be happening. According to Standard Sport, he’s already informed Derby County that he wants the job.

Lampard is one of the most influential figures in our illustrious history and stands tall with the highest goal tally out of any player ever to pull on the shirt.
He excelled during his time here as a player, and it very much looks as though he could be given an opportunity to replicate that as manager.
Standard Sport report that Lampard is the frontrunner to replace Maurizio Sarri, with the former England international incredibly keen on taking the job.
So keen, in fact, that Standard Sport claim he informed Derby LAST WEEK that he’ll be off if Chelsea offer him the chance to become manager.
