Chelsea defender Baba Rahman is set to return to action for Ghana after being named in theri 23 man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Rahman has not featured for Chelsea in several years, having been farmed out to the Bundesliga on loan and having suffered several severe injuries.
One of these, which he picked up at the last ACON in 2017, almost put his career at risk, and it’s a real relief to see him on the comeback trail.

The finals start in Egypt next week, and we expect to see Baba battle for a spot at full back with some of the other top talents the Black Stars have in those parts of the pitch.
Even with the transfer ban in place he doesn’t look like he will get a look in here, but we want to see his career back on track, and this tournament could be a springboard to a solid loan somewhere.
