Chelsea have taken another step towards securing Callum Hudson-Odoi’s future, according to Matt Law of the Telegraph.
So often on the scene with some interesting snippets, Law has been out of the loop in recent weeks. Perhaps looking to strike back, he’s launched an exclusive piece of information into the blogosphere today.
Law says CHO is “on the verge” of a new deal, perhaps explaining the reported bid from Bayern today. Perhaps the Bavarians see this as their last chance to persuade the winger they still want him.
Either way, securing the wonderkid on what is reported to be a five year contract would be a massive filip for Chelsea. That, combined with the Frank Lampard news, are enough to bring smiles to all our fans faces, despite the tough times we’re in.
Hudson-Odoi’s injury may just have swung this decision in our favour, and we may weirdly end up looking back with glee at the moment he limped off against Burnley.
