Eden Hazard will be forced to change shirt number if he joins Real Madrid

Eden Hazard is a certain Real Madrid signing this summer and his shirt number at the La Liga club has been revealed by the Sun.

The forward, after helping Chelsea win the Europa League this season, admitted he may have played his final game for the Blues and is expecting to complete the deal to move to Real.

As much as it will pain the Chelsea faithful, Hazard for the first time since 2012, will be wearing another club’s jersey. According to the Sun’s report, the fee necessary is £115million, and then and Hazard is as good as a player of the record Champions League winners.

But his favored number 10 shirt will not be handed to him as Real are not prepared to strip Luka Modric off his shirt. So Hazard will take up Cristiano Ronaldo’s number 7 shirt from next season.

Striker Mariano Diaz has the shirt now but is glad to hand it over to the 28-year old once the deal is official in the coming days.
