Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic will return to Inter Milan this summer, according to reports on Italian football website Football Italia.
The Croatian joined Chelsea on loan last season, and played plenty of games for Maurizio Sarri. Given we’re currently stuck with a transfer ban, it seemed only logical he would stay.
Now however, things seem to have changed. The silky smooth centrocampista will now apparently make the full time move to his old club Inter, where he had his most impressive spell ahead of being bought by Real.
Madrid are having a big clearout of their squad this summer, and it seems Kova will be one of the victims.
We just hope our board know what they’re in for if they let him go. We could be left seriously short handed if he goes and we suffer a couple of injuries. We would all feel a lot more comfortable with the former Linz player sticking around, maybe even on loan again.
