Chelsea make big change in transfer plans after Maurizio Sarri’s possible takeoff to Juventus

Chelsea are making considerable changes to their transfer plans for the upcoming transfer window after Maurizio Sarri’s imminent exit.

The Italian coach is set to take up the vacant manager role at Juventus following the resignation of Massimiliano Allegri from the Serie A champion club. According to Sky Sports, Chelsea will allow the former Napoli man to join the Italian giants in the coming days and the deal will be announced soon.

Somewhere in the confusion surrounding Sarri’s exit and what Chelsea’s plans will be after he leaves, the Evening Standard have picked up a few details concerning Mateo Kovacic’s future.

The Standard says Chelsea are not willing to sign the Croatia international permanently despite the midfielder making 51 appearances last season under Sarri. The Blues have the option to sign him up this summer despite having a transfer ban on them.

They can explore that option since the player is already registered with them from last season and will not be considered a new player, but the Europa League champions do not want to keep the player.
