How some Chelsea fans reacted to official account’s throwback tweet of Lampard goal

A goal Frank Lampard scored in 2008 against Hull City at the KC Stadium was recaptured by the official Chelsea account on Twitter and the fans went crazy about it.

It is expected that when such videos are posted on social media, fans will get excited and perhaps jump into a frenzy about having qualities like that return to the club. But in the case of Lampard, his baby steps in management has led to speculation that the Blues are eyeing a capture of him to lead the dressing room.

Chelsea are currently locked in talks with the former midfielder over a return to Stamford Bridge as the first team manager, according to the Daily Express but nothing concrete has come out of the club yet. So when videos of the club’s greatest ever goalscorer for the Premier League giants is posted on Twitter, fans go ballistic.
