Chelsea could have one of their star players back from the physio room as early as September after a report from the Daily Mail revealed Callum Hudson-Odoi is making remarkable progress in his recovery.
The 19-year old picked up an Achilles ankle injury in April and was initially thought to be out of action for six months, but it seems he may return to action one month before the anticipated date. Hudson-Odoi posted a 30-second video on Twitter of the progress he is making so far.
Recovery is going well, I hope to be soon be back on the pitch, let’s go!!🙏🏾⚽️❤️ pic.twitter.com/SCKbOOzWKu

The winger was pushing for a regular spot in the Chelsea team prior to his injury and had at one point convinced the head coach, Maurizio Sarri and the club’s fans of his ability to consistently play on the wings ahead of Pedro and Willian.
Soon after, he picked up a nasty ankle injury in Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Burnley and was feared to miss almost half of next season. So this development will be pleasant news to the Chelsea fans who were hoping Hudson-Odoi will be ready to fill the void left by Eden Hazard who left for Real Madrid this summer.
