“I believe I will get in and play” – Chelsea loan star makes bold prediction about future at club

Tammy Abraham is one of the Chelsea players on loan to have impressed in his time away last season and he now confirms he may be part of the squad for the upcoming year.

The Blues will be left inactive in the summer transfer window after FIFA banned the club from making signings for two transfer windows. Chelsea will now rely on Christian Pulisic as the only new arrival and the few players in their loan pool they can pick from.

Abraham is one the best performing loanees the Premier League giants can infuse in their squad. His time at Villa Park was an impressive one. In 40 appearances for the Villa, the 21-year old scored 26 goals and provided three assists in the Championship and quickly cemented himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Abraham believes he has the right skill set to make it big at Stamford Bridge when given the chance next season. His words seem to confirm he will be providing assistance to Olivier Giroud.

“The aim is to be at the highest level and playing the best football and, if Chelsea say they need me there, I will put 100% in. ‘I am a person who believes in myself. So, wherever I am at, I believe I will get in and play and score goals.”
