Bayern start summer assault with fresh bid for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea have rejected another offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi from Bayern Munich, according to The Daily Mirror.

In a story released just hours ago, the tabloid says that the German club are back in for the winger despite his serious injury which is exected to rule him out until some way into the new season.

They made a concerted effort in January, only to be rebuffed on several occasions by the Blues hierarchy. The issue now is that the Engand wide man’s contract runs out in a year’s time, so our power over him is starting to evaporate,

Munich know they can get him for free in a year, so this summer will likely see some last ditch attempts to at least prove their determination.

After that, he will either sign a new deal, or we will watch one of the most talented academy attackers for a generation walk away, without earning a single penny in return.

It’s going to be a long tense summer, and it’s only just getting started.
